Wine Drinking Myths

It is Friday Sippin' and also FRIDAY THE 13Th! Any lucky/unlucky plans for this Friday? Scary movie and a bottle of wine sounds like the perfect evening for me. We rounded up some wine drinking myths to make your Friday Sippin' lucky. Avoid these things and Enjoy getting lucky while drinking ;-)

1. Make Eye Contact when making a toast. Apparently, if you fail to make eye contact your are banished to 7 years bad luck in the boudoir. No one wants that! Lock eyes and toast that vino.

2. Be sure to cheers with your glass in your left hand and use WINE not WATER. Looks like our left handed friends have been doing it right all along. When making a toast it is the BEST luck to cheers with your left hand and alcohol in your glass. The saying goes, when you make a toast using a glass of something else, you are wishing bad luck or even death upon the toastee. GO LEFTIES!

3. Share your wine, don't hog it to yourself.  Never pour yourself the last drops of wine if you are not drinking alone. It is bad luck, and a sign of respect to share with your friends and loved ones.
